About the Chapter

The Greater Baton Rouge Young Republicans are the flagship chapter of the Louisiana Federation of Young Republicans, uniting students and young professionals across the capital region under a shared vision of bold conservative leadership.

Rooted in the heart of Louisiana politics, this chapter serves as a training ground and launching pad for the next generation of Republican leaders. The Greater Baton Rouge Young Republicans are uniquely positioned at the intersection of education, policymaking, and political opportunity. Our members walk the halls of Louisiana State University and the State Capitol, bringing innovative ideas, conservative values, and a youthful energy to the world of politics. We believe that the work we do in Baton Rouge reaches all across the state—influencing state policy, inspiring young leaders, and helping shape the direction of the Republican Party in Louisiana for years to come.

While our mission is deeply rooted in leadership and civic engagement, the Greater Baton Rouge Young Republicans is just as much of a social club as it is a political one. We bring together young conservatives from all walks of life to build real friendships, share ideas, and enjoy the community we’re creating. In Baton Rouge, politics and connection go hand in hand, and at GBRYR, you’ll find a place where your values and social life work as one.
